Our Gidon Kremer discography is at last completely available digitally. Recorded with his longstanding accomplice pianist Oleg Maisenberg, this album pays homage to the cinema, with arrangements of famous film scores from Chaplin’s Modern Times to pieces by Nino Rota and Astor Piazzolla, and Takemitsu’s Nostalghia in memoriam Andrei Tarkovsky.
