Hayne van Ghizeghem, Antoine Brumel, Alexander Agricola
The Early Music Consort of London was a precursor early music ensemble from the 1970s. During its short existence, abruptly interrupted by the tragic death of its founder David Munrow, it has recorded absolute milestones of Renaissance music. In particular, this triple LP, one of their very last, was entirely devoted to the Flemish composers, and made the classical audience aware of underrated figures such as van Ghizeghem, Brumel or Agricola. This album is finally made available in its complete original version.
