The legendary Dale Clevenger passed away last January. One of the most iconic horn players of his generation, he acquired his reputation as solo horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, a role he played for nearly half a century, participating in dozens of celebrated recordings under the baton of Carlo Maria Giulini, Daniel Barenboim and many more. An established concert player, he recorded one recital for Teldec, with three beautiful concertos by the Haydn brothers.
