Hummel: Flute Sonatas & Grand rondeau

The aptly surnamed Noël Lee would have turned 100 next December 25th. A pupil of Nadia Boulanger, he was a successful soloist and a highly sough-after chamber music partner. The four-hands team he formed with Christian Ivaldi was legendary. 

This is the first time this beautiful recording of works for flute and piano is available on digital platforms. 
Johann Nepomuk Hummel was a contemporary of Beethoven and one of the greatest chamber musicians of early Romanticism.
