Many top-class conductors have collaborated with the orchestra along its rich history, here represented by Thomas Beecham, André Previn, Charles Groves, Charles Mackerras, Malcolm Sargent and Andrew Litton. Soloists featured include Jacqueline du Pré, Christopher Parkening, Nigel Kennedy and John Ogdon.
