Saint-Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 2 - Liszt: Piano Concerto No. 1

Cécile Ousset’s sophomore album under the EMI label, from 1982, includes two masterworks of the romantic piano concerto by Liszt and Saint-Saëns. It marks the beginning of her long musical partnership with the young Simon Rattle, newly appointed musical director of the CBSO, with whom she would share many other successful recordings.
