Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Melodie Op.42 No.3

Tchaikovsky's Melodie is the third piece out of the collective work titled Souvenir d'un lieu cher, dedicated to the famed Hungarian virtuoso and pedagogue Leopold Auer. Tchaikovsky met Auer in St. Petersburg during his studies, where Auer was teaching at those times.
