Enescu: Symphonies Nos. 1 - 3 & Vox Maris

February 26th: centenary of the premiere in Paris by Gabriel Pierné of George Enescu’s revised third symphony! We release the complete set of symphonies conducted by Enescu specialist Lawrence Foster, born of Romanian parents. This album includes the digital premiere of the dreamlike Vox Maris, a captivating tone poem richly orchestrated, and probably Enescu’s masterpiece.
