Spanning forty years of recording career, this 100-titles and 10-hours long florilegium includes excerpts of the most famous performances, from the Nutcracker to Barber's Adagio, the Beethoven symphonies and the Rite of Spring. It highlights Rattle's famous collaborations with the Berliner Philharmoniker and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and features such soloists as Sarah Chang, Renaud Capuçon, Lars Vogt or Emmanuel Pahud.
