Airs d’opéras

Last re-issue of our Martha Angelici retrospective project, to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of her passing. This recital recorded with the Orchestra of Paris Opéra-Comique (whose company Angelici has been a member for many years) shows the soprano at the high point of her vocal capacities, radiant in this superb collection of opera arias (Faust, Les contes d’Hoffmann, Manon…) including French adaptations of the Magic Flute, Otello or the Marriage of Figaro.
