Artista protagonista:
Tomaso Albinoni was a remarkable melodist, and if his famous Adagio (reinvented by Remo Giazotto) granted him eternal posterity, many other slow movements from his catalogue could aspire to the status of classical hits. The Adagio from the second concerto of his opus 9, for instance, is one of the most moving tunes of the whole instrumental Baroque. We release the complete concertos for oboe in this pioneering collection conducted by specialist Claudio Scimone. Soloist Pierre Pierlot is joined by Jacques Chambon in four double concertos.
