The Bielefelder Kinderchor is one of the most famous children’s choirs in Germany, and historically the first to include both boys and girls! Though they havetoured intensely throughout Europe and recorded many albums since the beginning of its almost 100-year story, their recordings are still very rare on digital platforms. As the Christmas season approaches, we release one of their most praised albums from 1961, including the most famous German carols accompanied by the organ, from Vom Himmel hoch to O Tannenbaum.
