Kosma & Jaubert: Les enfants du paradis et autres musiques de films de Marcel Carné

Michel Plasson conducts his Toulouse orchestra performing works by Maurice Jaubert and Joseph Kosma. A notable addition to this album is Les Feuilles mortes (Autumn Leaves), an international hit which found its fame after being hummed by Yves Montand in Les Portes de la nuit. Jaubert and Kosma became closely associated with "poetic realism", the main movement of French cinema in the 1930's.
