The dreams and passions of a small community are shattered by the arrival of a handsome stranger. Fueled by heat and desire, the inhabitants are drawn into a spiral of greed, opportunism, sex and murder. In the dust and decay of a small mid-western town, a heady mix of lust, betrayal and revenge unfolds as the characters in Bourne’s drama struggle with their own guilt and treachery, and the tragic consequences that follow.
