The legendary mezzo-soprano reveals all her talent as a liedersängerin in this bouquet of masterpieces by Schubert and Schumann (Widmung, Die Forelle, Gretchen am Spinnrade…), in perfect mutual understanding with accompanist Geoffrey Parsons, a specialist of this repertoire. This album newly remastered also includes a version of Ich grolle nicht that was not included in the original LP and is therefore an absolute premiere!
