As an homage to the late lamented Maria Tipo this is the last album she recorded in 1994, the complete set of Chopin’s Nocturnes. This beautiful rendition puts an end to Tipo’s discographic career, or as the “Neapolitan Horowitz” as she was nicknamed, after which she decided to dedicate herself to teaching.
