Fredrik IX

Frederik IX is a Danish historical documentary series about the Queens father King Frederik IX and the monarchy of his time on the throne. In 1940 Nazi Germany occupies Denmark and the King regains a central role deciding with the Danish government which path Denmark should take: collaboration or resistance.

The main titles and parts the score were composed by Danish composer Nicklas Schmidt and recorded by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jesper Nordin.
