It’s been more than forty years now since Sir Simon Rattle started his incredibly rich artistic collaboration with Warner Classics (then His Master’s Voice). In particular, during his long mandate as musical director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, he recorded dozens of high-regarded albums. We release a set of Haydn symphonies, including the sixtieth so-called “Distracted”, which was originally composed as a set of interludes for a play, and a fine example of humor in music!
