Swedish composer Jacob Mühlrad, celebrated for his innovative compositional approach, releases his first major orchestra piece, “REMS” (Rapid Eye Movement Sleep), as the paramount part of his new album with the same title. Conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado and performed by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonics, REMS is an auditory exploration into the intricate realm of dreams and an intimate dive into the composer’s personal struggles with sleep.
