Victoria de los Ángeles was one of the favorite singers of legendary lieder accompanist Gerald Moore, with whom she toured in the greatest venues of the world. As for their recording legacy, it spans almost twenty years. This concert recorded at the Royal Festival Hall had never been re-issued since the original LP edition and has been specially remastered for the current retrospective. Its content is extremely varied, from early Italian baroque to German lieder, through traditional English songs and Victoria’s special encore: a fiery rendition of Adiós Granada, accompanying herself at the guitar.
