After paying him tribute all January long to celebrate his centenary, here is the last batch of our Jean-Pierre Rampal retrospective! The recording of the complete repertoire for flute and orchestra of Vivaldi, made in 1966 with Claudio Scimone, was a major event and a landmark in the baroque discography. We release the second volume of this project (the first one is out also available), including what was then the world premiere of incomplete concertos RV 431, 432 and 438b, and a concerto for two flutes performed with his father Joseph!
