Dreamlessly (variation)

Dreamlessly is a purely improvised piece of music consisting of free flowing patterns and melody fragments that create a very distinct, otherworldly atmosphere when combined. In this version, the motives and patterns are merely played as if they were only a remembrance of the original performance, sparsely put into the resonating space of the Yamaha Upright from 1981 in Carlos’ studio.

This performance explores the more sonorous and woody sounding aspects of the piece conveying quite a sombre and melancholic mood.
